U18s Second League Match- Results keep them in the running

A fantastic day for our Sussex U18 Boys at Royal Eastbourne Golf Club where they earned 5–3 wins over both Kent Golf and Hampshire Golf! That’s 3 wins from 4 this season – superb effort, lads!

A big thank you to Royal Eastbourne Golf Club for hosting us and providing a first-class venue and warm hospitality.

Special recognition to Ezra Hartland Cooden Beach Golf Club who stepped up from the U16s at short notice to replace an injured teammate and delivered two superb wins. A fantastic performance under pressure and he really played a key role in the team’s success.

Key Performers:

Archie Shakespeare (Royal Eastbourne), Joe Powell Seaford Golf Club, Charlie Curtis Haywards Heath Golf Club, and Ezra Hartland (Cooden Beach) – all unbeaten, winning both of their matches.

George Shakespeare (Royal Eastbourne) and James Lowrie East Brighton Golf Club added vital points to help seal the team victories.

We’re extremely proud of the whole team. Now, we focus on finishing the season strong in our final league match at Hockley Golf Club on 8th June, taking on Hampshire and Surrey Golf. Let’s go Sussex!
