Senior Spring Series Opens at Brighton & Hove

The Senior Spring Series got underway at Brighton & Hove Golf Club, where players were greeted by breezy conditions with spells of sunshine for the opening event.

The exposed course and steady wind made scoring a challenge throughout the day, testing players’ control and course management. This event marks the first of three Order of Merit events in the Senior Spring Series, with players earning points towards the overall standings.

Results were as follows:

1st – Jason Turner - Ham Manor - 30pts
2nd – Malcolm Cawte - Selsey - 28pts
3rd – Sean Neal - Littlehampton - 27pts

Nett
1st – Richard Tune - Worthing - 31pts
2nd – Angus Chisholm - Seaford - 30pts
3rd – Steve Broughton - Hill Barn - 30pts
