Junior Golf Workshop at East Brighton GC

Thank you to everyone who joined us for today’s inspiring and action-packed junior golf workshop at East Brighton Golf Club

A special shoutout to our brilliant presenters: Allison Boozer England Golf ,Eve Clarke (Sussex County), Karen Parks Sussex County Ladies Golf Association and Richard Wilson (Safeguarding Officer).

We explored a wide range of topics to help clubs grow the game for young people, including:

Junior pathways for girls and boys at club and county level

The new Golf Challenge initiative from England Golf

The Community Golf Instructor Course

Bringing Golf into Schools to spark early interest

England Golf’s more flexible, responsive approach to club needs

Promoting equity over equality to meet young players where they are

Inclusive dress codes, flexible offerings, and welcoming club cultures

Running short course formats and Family Twilight sessions to engage families

A key safeguarding session led by Richard Wilson

And many more

The open forum brought out fantastic conversations — with clubs sharing real challenges, ideas, and next steps. Thank you for contributing!

Want to get started? Reach out to Eve or Karen — we’re happy to meet with you and your club, help build a junior plan, and even support with delivery.
